Art Deco Opal & Rock Quartz Beaded Necklace with Diamond Clasp
A simple yet beautiful opal bead necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stunning piece is comprised of 97 graduating opal beads which have magnificent hues of green, blue, and purple. Alternating with the beads are smaller faceted rock quartz crystal spacers. The beads are strung on white thread and at the back is an elegant 14kt white gold clasp which is detailed with 6 old Rose Cut diamonds. It's a lovely and easy to wear piece worn alone or layered with other necklaces and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 22" long. The beads graduate in size with the smallest bead measuring 2mm and the largest bead measuring 5mm in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the opal beads, rock quartz crystal spacers or diamonds. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
