A beautiful diamond and sapphire engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! This beautiful piece is made of 14kt white gold and has a prong set diamond stone that rests in the center. The diamond, which is an old European Cut, has an approximate total weight of 0.35ctw and rests atop a beautiful filigree mounting with delicate engraving and milgrained details. The stone has H-I color and SI1 clarity. Set on the shoulder of each side of the center diamond is a tapered baguette and heart shaped synthetic sapphire as well as 4 Single Cut diamonds. The contrast between the deep blue sapphires and the white gold and center diamond is simply breathtaking! The inside of the ring is stamped "14K". The ring comes with an appraisal from an accredited and independent Gemologist. It is a stunning design and would make a gorgeous engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, diamond or to the sapphire stones, all of which are intact.
