Victorian Sterling Silver Flexible Weaved Coil Bracelet
An interesting and unusual sterling bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This sterling silver piece has a flexible, textured design that wraps twice around the wrist, ending with a hammered ball design on each end. The coiled band of the bracelet has an intricately crafted pattern comprised of weaved flat wire which comes together to form a basket weave design. The flexibility of the piece makes it very easy to slip on and off and the bracelet would ideally fit on a medium to large sized wrist. A very unique piece, this fashionable bracelet would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: Without pulling the arms, the inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 1 7/8" wide and 1 3/4" tall. When expanded, it measures up to 2 3/4" wide and 2 1/4" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is great. Because of the weaved design, the hollow interior of the bracelet makes the piece easily crimped. There is an indentation on the underside of the bracelet which cannot be seen when the piece is worn and the coil is stretched slightly, however, this is not noticeable when worn.
