Victorian 14kt Black Enamel & Diamond Wide Bangle Bracelet
An absolutely fabulous enamel bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880's) era! The bold bracelet, which is made of 14kt yellow gold, is particularly wide with a hinged bangle design. The entire outer surface of the piece is covered in rich black enameling, while the inner rim is yellow gold. The front surface of the bracelet is accented with a single sparkling diamond set within the band. At the hinge and opening of the bracelet are decorative gold details and a safety chain for extra security. The simple yet attractive black and gold colors would compliment any ensemble and give the piece a very wearable, bold look. It's a fantastic Victorian bracelet that blends seamlessly into modern day fashion and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 3/8" wide and 24" tall. The surface of the bracelet measures slightly more than 3/4" wide and is approximately 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond stone is intact. The clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition and the safety chain is secure. There is some minimal surface wear to the enamel, however this is normal for a Victorian piece and not noticeable when worn.
