Victorian 14kt Persian Turquoise & Diamond Hinged Bracelet
An absolutely gorgeous gold bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and is detailed with a row of 8 vibrant Persian turquoise stones set along the front. Resting above and below in between each vibrant blue stone are 2 old Mine Cut diamonds. All of the stones are prong set and the diamonds are set at the ends of a gold bar, almost giving the illusion that they're floating. The bracelet is hinged and opens at a small push clasp at the side of the bracelet where a safety chain has been added for extra security. It looks striking on and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The surface of the bracelet graduates in width measuring 5/8" at the widest point and a little less than 2/8" on the underside. The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 3/16" wide and a little less than 3/16" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or to any of the turquoise or diamond stones, all of which are intact. The bracelet opens easily and fastens securely and the safety clasp is secure and in good working condition.
