A stunning diamond and pearl bracelet from the Victorian era (ca1880)! Made of 15kt yellow gold (indicating its English origin), the bracelet has a cutout gate design on the back and a spectacular pearl and diamond design on the front. The pearls, which have a wonderful luster, all display a range of complimentary colors in light grey and smoky hues. They form two vertical rows across the front surface of the bracelet, separated by an airline that runs along the middle. Three sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds held within gold diamond shaped settings are set along the front, accenting the bracelets design. There is also a beautiful swirl etched design in the gold at the top and bottom edges of the piece. The bracelet is hinged and opens at a small push clasp, which also features a safety chain for extra security. The underside of the clasp is stamped "18Ct." A gorgeous and very feminine piece, it would make any jewelry collection complete!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 3/8" wide and 2 1/8" tall. The surface of the bracelet measures slightly more than 1/4" tall and is approximately 3/16" at its thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and all of the pearls and diamond stones are intact. The clasp opens easily and fastens securely, and the safety chain is intact.
