A lovely rose gold bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This simple yet beautiful piece is made of 9kt rose gold and comprised of a lovely chain and padlock charm. Sections of "X" shaped links and latticework chain links alternate with each other and come together at a small heart-shaped padlock clasp. The top of the padlock opens and shuts with a push clasp, and the face of padlock charm bears a small keyhole and 4 screwhead-shaped designs. A safety chain weaves through a ring at the top of the clasp which connects on either side of the linked bracelet for extra security. The top of the swinging padlock clasp is stamped "9CT”. This delicate bracelet is very comfortable to wear and would look wonderful worn alone or paired with other complementary bracelets!
Measurements: The chain measures approximately 7 1/2" in length and is approximately 3/8" wide. The padlock clasp measures about 1 1/8” tall, 1/2" wide, and 1/8” thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold chain or to the padlock charm. The clasp and safety chain fasten securely and are both in good working condition.
