A fabulous sterling Roman coin bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous and unusual piece is comprised of an ornate sterling silver bangle which has 5 silver coins set within it. Each coin has the face of a different Roman man, including Mark Anthony, Sulla, Julius Caesar and Pompey and all are set flat in the bracelet. A textured, etched surface frames each coin, adding richness and depth to the piece. The bracelet is hinged and clasps on the side and has a safety chain for added security. A beautiful and unusual piece, this bracelet would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The surface of the bracelet measures approximately 5/8" wide. The inside opening, where your wrist would rest, measures 2 1/4" wide and 2" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the bracelet and the clasp and safety chain are secure and in good working condition.
