Victorian 14kt Hand Wrought Floral Motif Earrings
A fantastic pair of mixed metals earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 14kt yellow and rose gold, these wonderful hand wrought earrings have a simple, yet attractive 3-dimensional design. Each earring begins with a yellow gold earring wire attached to a small gold ball topper. Dangling below is a large rose gold oval, which is elongated in shape and hollow inside. A wide yellow gold band wraps around the middle of each oval, creating a lovely 2-toned appearance. The yellow gold band is detailed with a beautiful cutout design that displays a feminine floral motif on the front surface. Delicate milligrained detail adds a subtle texture, which accents the design perfectly. The hollow design makes the earrings wonderfully lightweight and comfortable to wear. Perfect for everyday wear, these gorgeous Victorian earrings would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 5/8" long and are 5/8" wide and thick.
Condition: Overall, the earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and the earring wires are intact.
