Stunning and unusual pearl earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These fabulous earrings are made of 14kt yellow gold and have an interesting chandelier-like design. The 3-dimensional earrings have a cone shaped gold link which is open in the center and covered in fine beadwork and textured ridges. At the top of the cone is a beaming gold disc topper which is surrounded by a seed pearl frame and attaches to a simple earring wire. Dangling from the bottom of the gold cone center are 8 wire bars lined in lustrous seed pearls with a single gold spear in the center. The color contrast between the yellow gold and shimmering pearls is exquisite and the design of the earrings is absolutely striking. These gorgeous earrings would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 2 1/2" long and are 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the pearls are intact.
