A beautiful pair of onyx earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring is comprised of 2 oval shaped onyx rings, the smaller ring dangling in the center of the larger one. A decorative 14kt yellow gold clasp secures the ovals together and holds a small onyx bead, which dangles below in the very center of each earring. The gold clasp is detailed with a delicate seed pearl in the middle and the earrings hang from a round onyx bead surmount which is attached to simple gold earring wires. Very light and comfortable to wear, these marvelous earrings look stunning and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 5/8" long and is 5/8" at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or to the onyx and the earring wires are intact.
