Victorian 15kt Yellow Gold Vessel Earrings
A lovely pair of dangling gold earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of vibrant 15kt yellow gold, each earring carries a fabulous decorative vessel design. The vessels have a beautiful 3-dimensional look and have a hinged arched handle design which curls around, resting on both sides. A delicate gold ball hangs from the bottom of each curled shoulder and fine dotted design creates a subtle accent along the face of the hinged link. The earrings hang from simple yellow gold wires and have a very elegant look. Very light and comfortable to wear, they would look stunning worn day or night!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/8" long, is slightly more than 1/2" at the widest point and 1/4" in depth.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold urns or to the earring wires. The surface of the gold has some natural patina which adds to the richness of the earrings.
