Wonderful Victorian (ca1880) seed pearl earrings. Each earring has 2 separate domed clusters of seed pearls set within a beautiful 18kt yellow gold setting. The earrings surmount attaches to the front of the 18kt gold wire and portrays the smaller seed pearl clusters set in the center of detailed wirework. The link that hangs from the surmount has a complementing design of intricate wirework and another larger cluster of seed pearls. The wonderful filigree work on each earring is stunning and delicate and simply a work of art. They are fantastic Victorian earrings and a must for any collector!
Measurements: Each earring measures approximately 2 1/8" long at the longest point and a little more than 5/8" at the widest. The earrings hang approximately 2 1/2" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and all of the pearls are intact.
