Fabulous amethyst earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These stunning earrings, which are fairly large in size, are comprised of two amethyst stone links which are set in 9kt rose gold. The stones are oval shaped and faceted along the edges and on the back with the top stone being slightly larger than the bottom. They are prong set and rest in the center of an open bezel setting. The links attach to each other by a single ring and hang from 14kt gold wires. They are simply lovely and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurement: The earrings hang approximately 1 7/8" long, are a little more than 5/8" at the widest point and have a depth of 3/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the amethyst stones or to the gold setting.
