A beautiful pair of Victorian (ca1880) era 15kt gold earrings! These earrings are fairly large in size and portray a simple but lovely design. They begin with a 15kt yellow gold upside down triangle that attaches to the bottom of the wire and encases the tip of the diamond-shaped box border which is open in the middle. An open gold ring dangles from the diamond border by a gold ring which is hidden by the triangle top. The diamond-shaped box is decorated with lovely gold wirework in the 4 corners and and triangle top is detailed with simple beadwork. Dangling from the 2 bottom sides of the diamond border are 11 convex spheres which add simple and wonderful detail to the earrings. These stunning earrings are easy to wear, and light in weight. A must have for the Victorian collector!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2 1/4" long and are approximately 1 1/2" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or earring wires.
