Beautiful tortoise shell earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each of these lovely earrings is portrayed by a hand carved tortoise shell disk which has a beveled face. Inlaid into the front of each is a simple grape and leaf design made from mother of pearl and sterling silver. A geometric pattern made of sterling silver also frames each round disk and the earrings hang from simple clasped 14kt yellow gold earring wires. These stunning earrings are simply beautiful and would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1 1/8" in length and 7/8" wide and approximately 1/8" in depth.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear there is no serious damage to the tortoise shell or to the inlaid mother of pearl.
