An beautiful gold locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is made of vibrant 18kt yellow gold and has an 8-point diamond encrusted starburst on the front face. The starburst is comprised of 19 bead set sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds, with the largest stone set in the center, weighing approximately 0.35ct. The total approximate carat weight for the diamonds is .85ctw. The fantastic locket hangs from a complimentary yellow gold fluted bail and the front opens to reveal space for two of your favorite photographs inside. Measurements: The locket hangs approximately 2 3/8" long, is 1 1/2" wide and 3/8" at the thickest point. The starburst on the face of the locket measures approximately 1 1/16" long and 7/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or bail and all of the diamonds are intact. The locket opens easily and closes securely.
