Victorian Gold Filled Enamel & Diamond Locket
A beautiful enameled locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Gold filled, this gorgeous piece is oval in shape and features an enameled and hand painted image of a Victorian woman wearing a black mask over her face. Two old Rose Cut diamonds peek through the openings in the mask and represent her eyes and a diamond rests at her neck as a pendant. The locket opens to reveal a moving glass face and 2 spots for your favorite photograph. It's a lovely piece and would make a perfect addition to any collection.
Measurement: The locket hangs 1 3/8" long and measures approximately 7/8" wide and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the locket is great. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold filled locket or to the enamel and painted surface and all 3 diamonds are intact. The lockets opens easily and stays securely closed.
