A gorgeous turquoise crown necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful pendant is made of 14kt yellow gold and is decorated with a Persian turquoise design. Pave (French for pavement) turquoise stones represent the five points of the crown and a row of 5 turquoise stones form a single row at the base, set within diamond-shaped gold settings. The piece was originally a pin, which has been converted into a pendant and hung from a delicate 14kt gold chain. The necklace fastens together in the back with a simple gold spring ring that is stamped "585." An absolutely beautiful piece, this stunning necklace would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The chain measures 18" long. The crown pendant measures 2 1/4" wide, 1" tall and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the turquoise stones are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
