An absolutely fabulous and unusual Queen's Heart citrine and pearl pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning royal piece is comprised of a single citrine heart, which has a 3-dimensional look and is fairly large in size. Riveted into the top of the heart is a solid gold crown made of 14kt yellow gold. The crown is wonderfully detailed with etching and beadwork and the gold has a very rich, high blooming wash. Lining the face of crown are 2 rubies and a dematoid garnet and natural seed pearls frame the top. The heart hangs from a round bail that sits atop the gold crown topper. It would look magnificent hanging from a simple Victorian chain and is truly a work of art! It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The citrine heart pendant hangs 2" long, is a little less than 1" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/2". The bail has an approximate diameter of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the citrine heart or to the gold accents and all of the pearls and stones are intact.
