A magnificent Etruscan Persian Turquoise pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 15kt yellow gold, the piece is oval in shape and particularly large in size. A wonderful design of Pave (French for "pavement") set turquoise stones rests in the center, creating a convex oval shape. A marvelous frame borders the turquoise, intricately detailed with an Etruscan wirework and twisted rope pattern. The piece hangs from a large hinged fluted bail and would look fantastic worn hanging from a long gold chain. This eye catching piece has a fabulous look that would make a perfect addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 2" long, is 1 1/8" wide and approximately 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the turquoise stones, which are intact and the bail is intact and in good working condition.
