A beautiful anchor pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This striking piece, which is particularly large in size, is made of sterling silver and forms the shape of a large, 3-dimensional anchor. The anchor adorns a beautiful floral etching, which runs throughout the anchor, covering the entire surface. Wrapped around the piece is a twisted rope wire, adding to the wonderful design of the piece. The anchor hangs from a simple sterling bail and the back of the pendant is smooth, showing details that the pendant was once a pin. A wonderful nautical-themed piece, this bold pendant would look fantastic worn on a simple silver chain and would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 3 3/8" long, is 1 3/4" at its widest point and 1/4" thick at its widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling anchor or to the bail.
