A gorgeous horseshoe pin from the late Victorian (ca1900) era. This beautiful piece is made and 14kt gold and depicts the shape of a large horseshoe. The surface of the horseshoe is lined with 15 lustrous Mississippi River pearls, which graduate slightly in size. The pearls have a wonderful luster and look marvelous in the gold setting. A simple gold bar pin attaches to the back of the horseshoe and the clasp is stamped "14K". A real beauty, this stunning piece would look lovely worn for any occasion!
Measurements: The horseshoe measures slightly less than 1 3/4" long, 1 5/8" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the horseshoe pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the pearls, all of which are intact. The clasp of the pin is secure and in good working condition.
