An absolutely lovely diamond and turquoise pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful piece is made of sterling topped 14kt yellow gold and depicts a magnificent dragon with a 3-dimensional look. One large cabochon Persian turquoise stone forms the body of the dragon, while several old Rose Cut diamonds are set within its tail, claws, wings, and head. One ruby acts as the eye of the dragon. The numbers "31152" are etched on the back of the piece and the clasp is stamped "14kt". It's a wonderful pin and a must have for the dragon collector!
Measurement: The pin measures slightly more than 1" tall, is 2" at the widest point and has a depth of 3/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver topped gold setting or to the turquoise stone and all of the stones are intact. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
