Victorian Sterling & 14kt Diam Starburst Pin/Pendant 4.90ctw
An absolutely gorgeous diamond starburst pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is comprised of 48 old Mine and Rose Cut diamonds that surround a single larger center old Mine cut diamond stone which weighs approximately .75ct tw. The diamonds are set in a sterling silver topped 14kt yellow gold setting, which was common style for the Victorian era. It has a wonderful convex shape with a 3-dimensional look. The diamonds sparkle beautifully and have a total approximate weight of 4.90ct tw. On the back of the starburst is a removable pin clasp along with a long hook bail which makes it easy to wear the piece as a pin or pendant. It is a lovely piece and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pin/pendant measures slightly more than 1 3/4” tall, is slightly more than 1 1/2” wide, and 1/2" deep.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin/pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting and all of the diamonds are intact. The pin clasp and hook bail are secure and in good working condition.
