Victorian 14kt Gold & Garnet Perfume Bottle Charm
A beautiful and delicate perfume bottle charm from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and forms the shape of a small but detailed bottle. An ornate textured design decorates the entire surface, front and back of the bottle. The front of the bottle holds a single garnet stone bezel set in the center. At either shoulder is a swirled wirework handle, and an elongated neck sits at the top of the bottle. Two sections of chain are connected to the top of the piece; one is fastened to the bottle topper, and the other has a jump ring in the center so that it can be hung and worn on a chain. This lovely Victorian piece, it would look marvelous worn on its own as a pendant, or added to a special charm bracelet or necklace!
Measurements: The entire piece hangs 1" long (including the chain for hanging). The vessel itself measures approximately 7/8" tall, 5/8" wide, and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the perfume bottle charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or garnet stone, which is intact. The sections of chain are securely fastened, though the bottle topper does not appear to be removable.
