An absolutely stunning repousse gold and jade bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! A hinged bangle, this gorgeous bracelet is decorated in a heavy floral and swirl repousse motif which carries around the entire exterior surface. The bracelet is particularly wide for a repousse bangle and 3 bezel set jade stones lay across the top, approximately 1/2" apart from each other. Each stone varies slightly in shade but all have very vibrant and luscious color. A stunning piece, this bracelet is hollow inside and very light in weight. It's hinged and clasps on the side where it has a safety button as well as a flip clasp for added security. It is stamped "14" on the tongue of the clasp. It would look lovely worn alone or with other bangle bracelets and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The interior diameter of the bracelet measures approximately 2 1/2" wide and 2 1/8" tall. The surface measures 1/2" wide and has a depth of 1/4" It would sit nicely on an average wrist.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no damage or dents to the gold bangle or to the jade stones. The clasp is secure and the hinge is in good working condition.
