An exquisite gold and turquoise bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) period! This wonderful hinged bangle is made of 15kt yellow gold and is decorated with 39 Persian turquoise stones. Each stone is bezel set and surrounded by a thin gold rope wire which weaves around them. Gold flutes vertically line the entire surface of the bangle and the turquoise stones are set in between the bar-like shapes. The piece is handmade and extremely light in weight and looks fantastic on. It is a simply marvelous and unusual bracelet that would make a great addition to any Victorian collection!
Measurements: The top surface of the bracelet measures a little more than 3/4" wide. The inside opening (where your wrist would rest) measures approximately 1 7/8" tall by 2 1/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is good. All of the stones are intact and the clasp is secure and in good working condition. There is some minor damage to the gold which looks to have been caused when repaired, however this is hardly
