A lovely pin and earring set from designer Theodor Fahrner. Probably from the 1950's, this sterling silver set is comprised of a pair of clip-on earrings and a complimenting pin. All three pieces depict a wonderful sterling silver and marcasite design. Each earring is the shape of a flower which has a textured, ribbed surface and a large, convex center with marcasite stones set throughout. Also set in each flower petal is a single marcasite stone. The pin portrays a complementary design made of sterling silver and marcasites. At the center is a folded, heart shape that has a ribbed, textured surface and marcasite stones set throughout. Weaving through the center of the folded heart are 2 thin scrolls that are lined in marcasites. On the back of each piece are the markings "925" along with the signature Fahrner hallmark "TF" within a circle. Each piece is simply lovely and would make a great addition to any Fahrner collection.
Measurements: The pin measures 2 1/4" at the longest point, 1" at the tallest and 1/2" deep. Each earring measures 3/4" wide and long and has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the set is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the silver and all of the marcasites are intact. The earring clips and pin clasp are secure and in good working condition.
