Considered one of the finest Mexican silver craftsmen from the twentieth century, Antonio Pineda began his art at a young age. He studied painting and sculpture as a youth and at age 14 he was apprenticed to Taller de Las Delicias of William Spratling to learn the silversmith craft. Antonio founded his own workshop in 1941 and his talent flourished.

This artistic Vintage bracelet is a fabulous Antonio Pineda piece from the 1970's! Made of sterling silver, it features 6 oval moonstones links that alternate with 6 hinged "X" shaped sterling links. Each moonstone is bezel set and surrounded by a decorative swirled sterling frame which gives the bracelet a wonderful look. The moonstones are very clear and have a lovely pale blue hue with iridescent flashes. A push clasp is incorporated into the design and hidden within one of the links. The back of one of the links has several markings: "STERLING MEXICO", "SILVER", "970", the Pineda crown hallmark with the word "TAXCO" inside, and another small hallmark. A beautiful piece, this bracelet would fit nicely on an average sized wrist. It would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7" long, 1" tall, and has a depth of approximately 3/8" at its thickest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there are no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to any of the moonstone links. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition.
