A fun and funky pair of Vintage celluloid earrings from the 1950's! Each earring features an ornate gold-filled frame, which holds a 3-dimensional devil's face made of ivory colored celluloid. The animated devils have a bold appearance with exaggerated facial features, including curved horns, black sideburns, square-shaped eyes and wide open mouths. The gold filled frame surrounding each devil's face is intricately detailed with a twisted rope pattern that alternates between textured and smooth strands. Each earring hangs from a simple clasped earring wire, attached to a decorative gold-filled topper with a green celluloid accent in the center. These creative and fun earrings would make a fun and unique addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 2" long, is 1" wide and 1/2" at the thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold filled setting or celluloid faces. The clasped earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
