Vintage 14kt Natural Coral Teardrop Earrings
A delicate and beautiful pair of Vintage coral earrings from the 1950's! These lovely earrings are made of 14kt yellow gold and feature hand carved coral teardrops, which hang from decorative toppers. Each earring begins with a gold ball attached to a post with a gold earring back. Dangling below is a gold link comprised of three open teardrop shapes, which have a textured surface and resemble a cluster of leaves. The coral teardrops are set in a beautiful open back prong setting and hang freely at the bottom. The coral has a polished finish and a stunning, rich orange hue with a few very subtle marbled streaks of white, indicating that the coral is natural and not dyed. The back of each earring has a small plaque stamped "14K" and the earring backs are also marked "14K." These simple and feminine earrings look simply beautiful when worn, and would make a truly lovely everyday addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 3/8" long, are 3/8" wide at their widest point, and approximately 1/4" thick at their thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting or carved coral, which is intact. The earring posts and backs are secure and in good condition.
