A beautiful Vintage diamond engagement ring from the 1950's! This beautiful piece is made of platinum and has a prong set diamond stone that rests in the center. The diamond, which is a round Brilliant Cut, has a total weight of 1.01ctw and rests atop a beautifully ornate mounting. The stone has I color and SI2 clarity. Set on the shoulder of each side of the center diamond is a Baguette Cut diamond as well as 7 Single Cut diamonds. The design is beautiful and unusual and the ring looks stunning on! The inside of the ring is stamped "950 PLAT". The ring comes with an appraisal from an accredited and independent GIA Gemologist which appraised on December 17th 2013 for $12,500 retail replacement value. It is a stunning design and would make a gorgeous engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the diamonds, all of which are intact
