A Vintage sapphire and diamond ring from the 1970's! Made of 14kt white gold, the ring holds a beautiful 1.95ct sapphire stone at its center. The sapphire, which is an oval cut, has gorgeous deep blue color and is surrounded by 12 sparkling diamonds. The diamonds are round cuts and have H-J range color, VS range clarity and a total weight of approximately 0.60ctw. The design of the ring resembles a flower, with the prongs at the tips of each diamond enhancing their petal-like shape. The simple white gold cathedral style band is smooth, while the side of the mounting displays a lovely raised prong design resembling a crown. The inside of the shank is stamped "14K," along with a small maker's mark. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist in January 2014 and has a stated retail replacement value of $5,500.00. An absolutely stunning ring, it looks gorgeous when worn and would make a very special engagement ring!

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the sapphire and diamond stones are all intact.
