Art Deco Platinum, 14kt, Onyx & Diamond Ring
A simply beautiful onyx and diamond ring from the Art Deco period (ca1920)! Set in a platinum and 14kt yellow gold setting, the ring is comprised of an octagonal onyx plaque with a single diamond set in the center. The diamond is a Mine Cut and has an approximate weight of .50ctw. It is set in a bezel setting with millgraining. The onyx plaque is set in the platinum and 14kt gold setting by 4 minimal prongs on the outside corners. Within the mounting are 4 additional single cut diamonds, 2 set on each side of the plaque. The underside of the mounting is 14kt yellow gold and the band is made of platinum. It's a wonderful ring with a true Art Deco look!
Measurements: The onyx plaque measures 1/2" wide, 5/8" tall and 1/8" thick. The ring has a finger size of 7 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the metal or onyx and all of the stones are intact.
