Beautiful agate earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning pair of Scottish agate earrings portray a sterling silver tear drop shape which hangs from a silver earring wire. A small sterling ball rests at the surmount of the wire and a smaller, long tear drop link swings freely through the cutout in the center. On the surface of the earrings are 4 pieces of Scottish agate which vary in color and shape. Each is set in a raised manner, with two carnelian stones at the sides, a white agate stone at the bottom, curved part of the tear drop and a moss agate stone in the center. The surface of the silver has a simple and ornate etched design which compliments the agate stone wonderfully. They would make a fabulous addition to any collection!

Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2" long, 3/4" at the widest point and have a depth of 1/8".

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the agate or to the sterling silver earring or wires.
