A simply gorgeous moonstone filigree ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful ring is made of 14kt white gold and has a single cabochon moonstone set in its center. The oval cabochon, which is fairly large in size, has a dome-like shape and is bezel set. The moonstone has an alluring pearly iridescence and semi-transluscent quality, with iridescent flashes that catch in the light. Delicate milgrain detail and fine etching decorate the bezel surrounding the moonstone for a subtle, yet elegant look. An exquisite filigree mounting with a flowing, floral-inspired motif completes the wonderful Deco design and showcases the moonstone perfectly. The inside of the shank is stamped "14K". This wonderful ring looks simply beautiful when worn. It would make a stunning addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5 but could be easily resized. The moonstone cabochon and surrounding bezel is slightly more than 3/4" tall and is 5/8" wide. When worn, the ring rests 3/8" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or the moonstone, which is intact.
