Art Deco Japanese Sterling & Rock Quartz Crystal Ring
A fabulous rock quartz crystal ring from the late Art Deco period (ca1930)! Made of sterling silver, the ring features a long, rectangular rock quartz crystal in the center. The crystal, which is particularly large in size, is a faceted Emerald cut and catches the light beautifully when worn. The rock quartz is held in place with four simple prongs and the sides of the mounting display a smooth sterling setting. The inside of the shank is stamped "STERLING" and "JAPAN." It's a wonderful ring with a classic, versatile look that would compliment any ensemble!
Measurements: The rock quartz crystal measures 7/8" tall, 1/2" wide and approximately 3/8" thick. The ring has a finger size of 6.75 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the rock quartz crystal, which is intact.
