An incredibly lovely diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! At the center of this beautiful piece is an old European Cut diamond, which sits within an elegant platinum setting. The center stone, which is prong set within a square setting, has H color, VS2 clarity, and weighs approximately 0.23ct. Set on the shoulders of the ring are two additional old European Cut diamonds, which have a total approximate weight of .05 ctw with H-I range color and VS range clarity. A beautiful floral filigree design with delicate milgrained details forms the gorgeous platinum setting, including small flower accents that rest in between a cutout at each shoulder. The band is accented with a lovely hand engraved design and is stamped "10% IRID PLAT" inside. The ring was appraised in July 2014 by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $2,600. A delicate and feminine piece, it has a gorgeous design and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
