LARTER & SONS Vintage 14kt & Enamel Fox Head Cufflinks
An exceptional pair of Vintage (ca1960's) cufflinks made by Larter & Sons! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, each of these beautiful cufflinks depicts a single 3-dimensional fox head detailed with colorful enameling. The foxes have a whimsical look, with elongated faces and raised ears. Coppery enamel represents the orange fox fur, with a soft ivory colored enamel around the eyes and ears. Painted black accents depict the eyes, nose, snout, and sides of the jaws, accentuating the charming facial features beautifully. The enamel has a glossy finish that looks fantastic and enhances the gorgeous colors of each animal. Each cufflink has a gold airplane back, which is stamped "14K" along with the Larter & Sons hallmark. A very unique pair of cufflinks, they would appeal to the equestrian enthusiast and would look fantastic worn by a woman or a man. Measurements: Each fox head measures 1/2" wide, 5/8" tall and 1/4" thick. The yellow gold bars measure approximately 5/8" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the enameled design.
