A beautiful star sapphire gypsy ring from the retro (ca1940) era! This stunning gypsy ring has a bezel-set star sapphire cabochon set amidst a classic bold Florentine 14k white gold mounting. The stone exhibits a light cloudy blue color with a strong white star that bounces from side to side with every wag of the finger. We estimate the star sapphire to weigh approximately 2.5ctw. The band has wide shoulders and tapers slightly towards the back. The bezel setting has a flat edge adding a hint of depth to the piece, and the edges of the band are also beveled. This handsome ring would make a fabulous piece for any vintage jewelry aficionado!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8 1/2 but could easily be re-sized.
