A gorgeous salmon coral bead necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely necklace is comprised of a single strand of graduated salmon coral beads, which are hand strung on light red thread. Each natural and undyed bead has a smoothly polished surface and displays a spectacular, pale red color. The graduated beads meet at a 10k barrel catch clasp in the back for a secure closure. Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 18" in length. The largest bead, which is in the center of the strand, measures approximately 6.4mm long and 7.5mm thick. The smallest bead measures approximately 3.4mm long and 3.5mm thick.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to any of the beads, which are all intact and securely strung. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
