A fantastic cameo signet ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is made of vibrant 10kt yellow gold and holds an attractive square-shaped green agate at the center. The agate stone is slightly concave and has the hand-carved cameo image of a face shown in profile. Surrounding the cameo is a superb repousse mounting with intricately carved swirled detail at each shoulder. The inside of the band is stamped with a small star hallmark. It's a very handsome piece that would look excellent worn by a man or woman, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7, but could be easily resized. The agate stone measures 3/8" across on each side.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the agate cameo, which is intact.
