Victorian 15kt Enamel & Rose Cut Diamond Bangle Bracelet
A beautiful and unusual bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) period! Made of 15kt yellow gold (indicating English origin), this fabulous piece has a very eye-catching design. The bracelet has a bright turquoise blue enamel surface which carries around the entire exterior, and decorating the front are seven diagonal rows of sparkling Rose Cut diamonds. The diamonds vary in size, alternating between rows of small and large stones, which are set within an engraved gold design. Dangling from the center of the bangle is a single diamond, which is bezel set and hangs from a short row of gold chain. The bracelet is hinged and clasps at the side at a decorative etched gold clasp. A gorgeous and very unique piece, this bracelet blends seamlessly into modern day fashion and would look fabulous worn alone or stacked with a group of similar bracelets!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 3/8" wide and 2" tall. The front surface is approximately 1/2" wide, and the back is 1/4" wide. The overall pennyweight of the bracelet is 29.6 dwt.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or blue enamel surface, and all of the diamonds are intact. The clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
