Vintage Denmark Sterling & Amber Hinged Panel Bracelet
This fantastic Vintage bracelet from the 1960's was made in Denmark and has a fabulous look! Made of sterling silver, the hinged piece features 3 large, rounded panel links that are inlaid with natural amber. Each link is tall and rectangular in shape, the outer links displaying angled edges that slant towards the large center link. In between each of the three thinks is a hinge, giving the front flexibility and comfort to wear. At one side of the bracelet is a hinged push clasp, which connects the panels in the front to the wide sterling band that wraps around the wrist. The inlaid amber is absolutely gorgeous, displaying a rich, warm array of colors with several natural inclusions, which add depth and an interesting appeal to the look of the amber. The tongue of the clasp is stamped with three Danish hallmarks although we're unsure of the specific maker. This bracelet has a fantastic design and looks eye-catching when worn. A bold and beautiful Vintage piece, it would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: When clasped, the inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/4" wide and 2 1/8" tall. The band of the bracelet is 7/8" wide. The center panel link measures 1 5/8" tall, 1" wide and 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or inlaid amber. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition.
