Vintage Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring .70ct center
A beautiful Vintage diamond engagement ring from the 1950's! This gorgeous piece is made of platinum and features a prong set diamond stone resting in the center of a beautifully ornate mounting. The diamond, which is a Round Cut, weighs approximately 0.70ct and has I color and SI2 clarity. Framing the center stone are two Baguette Cut diamonds on each shoulder, which weigh approximately .07ctw and have H-I range color and VS2 range clarity. A row of 20 single cut diamonds surrounds the center stones and adds an incredible sparkle to the diamond encrusted design. Delicate milligrained detail accents the diamonds and a row of flowing wirework decorates the sides of the mounting. The shank is stamped "10% IRID PLAT". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in April 2014 and has a stated replacement value of $5,500.00. This stunning ring looks simply breathtaking when worn and would make an outstanding engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.5 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact
