A beautiful and delicate pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This lovely piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a simple, yet attractive design. The pendant hangs from a fluted gold bail and begins with a moonstone cabochon in a yellow gold eyeglass setting. A gold bar link hangs below and attaches to a beautiful link comprised of a black onyx ring and a larger moonstone cabochon bezel set in the center. A yellow gold bezel surrounds the onyx and three gold wires wrap securely around the back, holding it securely in place. The moonstones have a wonderful translucent quality, with bright flashes of blue which looks marvelous against the black onyx and yellow gold. A delicate and versatile piece, it would look lovely hanging from a fine gold chain and would make a perfect everyday piece!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 5/8" long. The link at the bottom has a diameter of 5/8" and is 1/4" thick and the smaller moonstone has a diameter of 1/4" and is 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the moonstones and onyx are all intact.
