A fabulous onyx and cameo flip ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in 14kt gold, this striking piece is comprised of 2 individual faces which "flip" creating a ring that allows you to wear 2 different designs. On one side is a rectangular-shaped black onyx plaque which has a sparkling diamond set in a rotated box setting at its center and on the other side is a hand-carved cameo bust of a woman adorning a necklace featuring a smaller diamond within a similar setting. Both sides are bezel set within a gold frame which is hinged at the sides, allowing you to easily move and secure it within the beautiful filigree setting enhanced with delicate cutouts that extend to the shoulders. The bold onyx and the feminine cameo are a perfect Deco combination and a slightly graduated band featuring wonderful etching completes the look. The unique and versatile design gives the ring a bold, stylish feel and the piece would compliment any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5 but could be easily resized. The onyx and cameo plaque both measures about 3/4" tall and 3/8" wide, and the ring rests 1/4" above the finger when worn.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is great. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold filigree setting, and the onyx, cameo and diamonds are intact. The hinged mechanism moves easily and stays securely when clasped.
