Art Deco Two-Tone Chrome & Glass Filigree Buckle Bracelet
A very beautiful and unique buckle bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! This fashionable bangle bracelet is made of two-tone chrome with gold and silver colors and is simply gorgeous. At the front of the piece is a three dimensional buckle design, which is hinged to open and fasten shut. The underside of the clasp can hook into one of two notches, making the piece slightly adjustable. The front of the bracelet features a large, oval-shaped glass stone in a bezel setting. The glass has a unique color changing characteristic: in fluorescent light, the glass appears to be bright blue however when viewed in natural light, the glass takes on a vibrant purple color similar to an amethyst. The band of the bracelet displays an elaborate filigree wirework pattern, complete with delicate floral accents and a mixed metals look. This fabulous bracelet looks stunning when worn and would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The band of the bracelet measures slightly more than 5/8" wide and 1/16" thick. The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) has two adjustable sizes with measurements as follows: large - 2 1/2" wide and 2 1/8" tall; small - 2 3/8" wide and 2" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the chrome setting or to the glass stone and the buckle clasp is functional and in good working condition.
