A stunning pair of emerald and diamond earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! These elegant earrings are made of platinum and display a simple, yet beautiful drop design. The design begins at the surmount where a prong set diamond rests on each earring. Beneath the surmount hangs the platinum dangle, which each holds 7 assorted bead-set round cut diamonds and one bezel-set emerald cut emerald in each earring. The total approximate carat weight of the diamonds is .50ct, and the emeralds approximately 2.0cts. The emeralds have a very rich and vivid green hue and are highlighted beautifully by the striking platinum and glittering diamonds. The platinum dangle boasts curvilinear shapes as well as sharp geometric designs which really encompasses the beauty of the Art Deco era! The earrings hang from simple wires. When worn, the earrings dangle with lovely movement, framing the face beautifully. They are simply stunning and would look perfect worn on special occasions!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 1/4" long, including the wires at the top and measure 1/2" wide at widest.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds or emeralds, all of which are intact. The earring wires are secure and in good condition.
